Active Radiator & the Thermal Management Platform

In 2025, LDR launched its Thermal Management platform through the acquisition of Active Radiator and the combination with Cincinnati Radiator and Ohio Heat Transfer. Active Radiator continues to serve customers across the United States.

2011
Founded by three Army officers; authored a personal finance guide for soldiers.
2014
Established a fee-for-service operating partner client base in oil & gas, trucking, and related markets.
2015
Full partnership team established; launched Management Advisory & Leadership businesses.
2017
Formal partnership with an international conglomerate announced, focused on global strategic initiatives and companies.
2018
Acquired ICON, a leadership & performance coaching platform, and merged it with LDR’s Leadership business.
2019
Formalized the approach targeting lower middle-market industrial businesses; acquired Whitman Controls.
2020/2021
Formal identity of LDR Partners LP as an investment firm focused on acquiring and scaling industrial and manufacturing companies.
2022
Acquired Mustang Motorcycle Seats, Cincinnati Radiator, and Ohio Heat Transfer.
2023
Acquired ATI Corporation (now ATI Group), the first investment of the American Manufacturing Fund, and launched the Specialized Attachments platform.
2024
Launched the Industrial Controls platform through the acquisition of Thomas Products and combination with Whitman Controls.
2025
Acquired Load Controls and Hurricane Attachments as strategic add-ons. Launched the Thermal Management platform through the acquisition of Active Radiator and combination with Cincinnati Radiator and Ohio Heat Transfer.
