Active manufactures radiators for all types of generators. Traditionally most gen set radiators go to an industrial radiator shop when they need service or new cores. Lately, we encounter many situations where the customer does not want to incur the downtime of getting the radiator recored.
The expense of renting a back-up generator or renting a crane for removal and installation complicates matters and recoring may not be an option.
Active can manufacture completely new drop-in radiators for gen sets that can eliminate the downtime and extra expenses incurred by recoring.
Active can send one of our technicians to the location of the radiator and prepare a sketch / drawing so that we can manufacture a drop-in replacement.

RADIATORS WITH MOUNTING FRAMES
Many truck radiators are mounted into a steel frame that in turn mounts to the frame of the truck.
When you purchase a new radiator, it is necessary to remove the frame from the old radiator and then install that frame on the new radiator. This process can take a good mechanic one hour to one and a half hours additional labor.
In addition, the original frame flexes along with the truck itself and over time becomes twisted.
Re-installing a twisted frame on a new radiator puts stress on the new radiator and absolutely contributes to premature failure of the new radiator.
